ADK delivers baskets of hope — and goodies — at Easter
March 28, 2018
At Easter, we honor life, rebirth and the beauty and true meaning of Easter. The message of Easter is a message of celebration; a celebration of the ultimate triumph of hope and love. Easter reminds us that hope must never be lost for as dark as the road may seem, there always lies light at the end of it.
On Wednesday, 28th March, 2018, Staff and Children at the Children's Ward of the Greater Accra Regional Hospital, Ridge, received a special gift from ADK Consortium to start off the Easter weekend on the right foot and to celebrate the sacrifice of Easter.
Items presented included powered soap, detergents, toiletries, biscuits, fruit drinks, and bowls, spoons and cups to be used in feeding the children on admission at the Ward.
Dr. Srebuor, the head of the Children’s Ward expressed immense gratitude to the ADK team for maintaining it’s promise of continually supporting the Ward. She assured ADK Consortium that the items would be used solely for the benefit of the children in the Ward.
The ADK Team represented by Projects Administrator, Mrs. Frimpomaa A. Ayim and Human Resources Manager, Ms. Marklina Dadzie also visited the Compassion Rehab Centre, a Non-Profit Centre for the rehabilitation of drug addicts and alcoholics with a desire to reform, located at Prampram about 20 km from Accra.
The Team delivered over GH¢3,000 worth of items to the Centre. These included Bags of rice, cooking oil, toilet-rolls, cartons of milo, milk, and bottles of purified water.
