Sept. 27, 2018
SHAPING EDUCATION, BRINGING HOPE TO OUR COMMUNITIES
Giving back to communities and institutions that support and raise younger generations to achieve success in life is a core value we share and a privilege we must all embrace.
ADK Consortium on Thursday, 27th September, 2018, donated food items worth a total cost of GHC5,000 to the School for the Blind, Akropong - Akuapem, Ghana.
The items included bags of rice, beans, gari, yam, corndough, cassava dough, tomatoes, onions, gallons of soyabean oil, palm oil and boxes of canned tomatoes.
The gesture was aimed at showing love and care, bringing a sense of hope and satisfaction and assisting the School to provide the necessary nutrition needed for the students to effectively study and stay healthy, an initiative which forms part of the "ADK Gifts of Hope Project", which was launched in 2015. ADK believes that every Ghanaian child can have a bright future if given the needed support and genuine assistance.
The presentation was done on behalf of ADK by Ms. Marklina Dadzie, Human Resources Manager and supported by Theophilus Adomako, and Rev. Fr. Attukwei Quaye, Chaplain of ADK Consortium.
"As a Company, our interests go beyond serving our clients but also stretching a helping hand to the under-priviledged in our Society. We are proud to partner with Organizations that place emphasis on and share our interest in giving back to our communities", Marklina reiterated.
The Management and Students of the School expressed profound gratitude for the kind gesture and extended their heartfelt appreciation to Management and Staff of ADK Consortium and prayed God's divine blesings for greater successes for the Company.
