ADK STAFF DAY OUT

A staff retreat is a perfect opportunity to take a step back and spend time thinking about the bigger picture. It is common for employees to work under constant pressure, owing to the ever-present need to meet targets and objectives. This often creates tensions which are detrimental to team cohesion and performance.
With this in mind, Management led by Executive Chairman, Ing. Michael Krakue and staff of ADK Consortium embarked on a retreat dubbed “ADK Day Out” on Friday, 7th December, 2018 at the Prambeach Resort, Prampram - Greater Accra.
The retreat started at 6:45am with a 14km health walk to inculcate exercise regimes and healthy living lifestyles amongst staff members. Aerobics session, playing of outdoor games and a talk on health & nutrition was organized. There was also an interactive session by Management with presentations on company vision, goals and future prospects. This helped set the stage for the whole retreat and got staff members immediately on the same page about ADK's successes, failures and plans for the coming New Year. There was lots of laugh, fun and so much to eat and drink.
Team retreat is an incredible way to bring a company together and the "ADK Day Out" brought us together in a way that exceeded our expectations.
